In my young years i have travelled a lot and when working at the university, i also was bringing groups of my students to different cities and towns in Russia.
Now i have settled down in a village and so as i dont travel and don't go abroad, it would be intersting for me, if people from other countries would visit me and share their culture, background and travel experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a former University professor and now i have moved out of the city to the countryside. Here i have a nice wooden house and a huge garden where we plant fruit, vegetables, berries, apple trees.
Most of tourists and travellers normally visit just famous big cities like Moscow and Saint Petersburg, sometimes also Kazan and Jekaterinburg. But russia is not just big cities, this country is diverse. And to get to know the country and the people it is more reasonable to go to smaller towns and villages. You will be surprised by the beauty of nature.
