About Me
A light traveler. Whenever I'm travelling, I go looking for spots that only locals know. I enjoy travels that are not counted by visa stamps, because I believe that it takes a stranger to stay more than a day to love the strange city.
I speak fluent English as second language. My Japanese skills is way better than my Chinese (Mandarin - traditional) skills.
I'm tone-deaf, can't read musical notes, however I play a little Guzheng 古箏 (Chinese harp), which is a total miracle.
I'm not a picky eater... I love trying new food... however I'm pescatarian (yes, there's such a thing). When travelling, I mostly opt for vegetarianism as it's easier to find vegetarian food as the cheap and healthy options. Whenever I'm tired, I'd spout word salads.
I'm not an exceptionally tidy person, that's why when I travel I avoid taking too much stuff. The less stuff = easier to tidy up.
I live in a suburb of Jakarta, it is hard to reach (even locals would agree when I say, my area is far from any place of interest). The nearest bus stop is 20 minutes walk, and you need to ride for 20 minutes or so to reach the nearest point of interest. Taxi will cost a lot in Jakarta.
If you don't mind to go all the way to the suburb of Jakarta and sleep in a bare minimum condition to stay over, you are very welcome. :)
Other than that, I can't offer much for hosting fellow couchsurfers. :(
However, I enjoy roaming my city during weekends, so if you need a friend to accompany you around Jakarta using public transportations and try street foods, do drop me a line. And I’m not a guide nor I offer you paid tour services.
