ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing, culturally engaged (I'd like to think), generally interested individual. Smooth sailing and new experiences are my principal concerns. I grew up in the Northwest, love the outdoors, current live in Chicago attending Northwestern University as a communications/international studies major. I love film, music and travel, and work as a drum and bass DJ when my studies allow.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is good, live right and don't worry too much (only when it counts). Goodness leads to goodness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a beginner, but it looks like I'll be participating more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed at friends' places around stateside. I've had several homestay experiences living with families in a few different countries (that kinda counts, right?). Looking to expand my horizons in this field.

Centres d'intérêt

Music - especially: soul, electronic, dance, classic rock, d&b, hip-hop, jazz!
Film - anything and everything, it's part of my studies, especially anything Miyazaki, Tarantino, or Woody Allen
Reading - all the good ones! currently Nick Hornby's High Fidelity
Learning - I'd like to learn almost everything, but it turns out I might not be able to. One step at a time.
Radio - NPR kid turned NPR adult. Radio Lab, TAL, etc. etc. I hold down a show on 89.3 WNUR and will have a documentary broadcast on WBEZ 91.5 in the coming months!
