ABOUT ME

I am in love with people and music! My 3 favorite things are: laughing, making new friends, and making good music. I love learning languages because by doing so I learn a new culture, and make new friends! I love to explore, travel to new places, see and learn about new things. I have an open mind, and love to fill it with more new ideas. I'm easy-going and light-hearted. I really like to make everything fun! I laugh a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

I live because I love life. I greatly enjoy freedom! Life is meant to be enjoyed, cherished. Do what you love, love what you do. Follow your heart, embrace your differences (be the one who doesn't fit the mold, who sticks out), and love everyone. Always smell the flowers!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to change the world for the better, and I think that takes us understanding each other more, learning the different cultures and ways of life, and this helps us make peace between the differences. It's also a great way to make more friends, and makes traveling more affordable!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing experience couchsurfing around Switzerland in June! I met so many kind and wonderful people who were so hospitable--much more than I had hoped for! It's one of the greatest experiences ever!

Music, Movies, and Books

pretty much all music but country, especially acoustic guitar and drums together, musicals, symphony, orchestra, jazz. I love comedy movies, like "Princess Bride", "Napoleon Dynamite", "Leagally Blonde," and others like "Slumdog Millionaire," "V For Vendetta," "Star Wars," "Harry Potter".... Not much of a reader, but I do love it if it's good and keeps my interest. I like plays by Oscar Wilde, Moliere, and a few others, mostly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year studying abroad in France, just this past year. It was pretty amazing, and changed my life!
I milked cows by hand on a wwoof farm. I wadded in the ocean (which is pretty amazing for someone from Wisconsin)!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always interested in the exchange of ideas, philosophies, or anything else I can put in my pocket! I love to learn new accents and if you know how to make good music, I really want learn this. I am interested in learning pretty much everything! I can teach you conversational English. I can teach you how to sing, maybe some guitar too. And I give free concerts!
