Join Couchsurfing to see Bertalan’s full profile. It’s free!
I am Bertalan but for most of the people just Berci.
Right now I am an IT guy (how boring haha), but I have been educator in France, bartender in Hungary, and assistant of people living with mental disabilities. But first of all: a discoverer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing came to my field of view when some of my friends advertised it as free accommodation back is 2011. Then I experienced what I have guessed already, that CS is much more than that. A nice and cozy hotel room can be comfortable, but how boring it is compared to the intellectual and cultural roller coaster happening when you stay at a stranger or host somebody from the other end of the world ?
Since the time I registered I had the chance to host people from around Europe as I could stay at very welcoming and open-minded people.
I could say that I have the best stories of my life from Couchsurfing and I am sure this does not end here. ;)
Well this section would cover all the space on my profile if I would get into it. But I am more than happy to discuss all the things I am interested in. I am an equally listener as a storyteller.

Music, Movies, and Books
Love books and movies, but I am most into music. All kind of music which makes me more.
Some all time movie favorites:
The Fall (Tarsem Singh), Donnie Darko (Richard Kelly), Gemma Bovery (Anne Fontaine), Enemy (Denis Villeneuve), Interstellar (Christopher Nolan)
Hard to cover my music taste in some lines, but here goes the ones I'm into right now:
Justice, Mogwai, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Radiohead, Alt+J, Foals, Twenty One Pilots, Massive Attack, Hot Chip, Todd Terje, Flavien Berger, Bonobo, Samaris, Warpaint, Snarky Puppy, Rhye
Really, I can appreciate almost any kind of music. Even if I do not like it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parasailing at about 200m high above the Adria Sea at the coasts of Croatia. :)
Went to a Radiohead concert.
Tour de lake Balaton (220km) in Hungary.
Moved to France without speaking french.
List goes on... :)
