To enjoy life and give back.
I'm a native of New York who grew up in Los Angeles, graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA degree in Sociology and Political Science. After graduating from Paris' Cordon Bleu Cooking School, I eventually decided to settle in Paris and continued an international hospitality career for a total of about 20 years. In 2003, I left that field and started my own life coaching and intercultural and language training business.
I have traveled extensively around Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and North and South America and worked for a time in Tahiti and Monaco. I was also lucky enough to work at the 2000 Summer Olympics Games in Sydney, Australia. I'm an active volunteer in a variety of organizations and causes.
"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." Also "What goes around comes around."

Travel is my main interest and motivator so I can discover new places and people. I also love to read police/thrillers, biographies, historical novels, chick lit and some self development. I enjoy going to live theatre and concerts. I'm a great cook and enjoy feeding people and entertaining.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: It's a Wonderful Life, Dirty Dancing, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Full Monty, Films Noirs and Hollywood's Golden Age from the 30s and 40s.
I'm pretty stuck in the 70s to 90s for music: R&B, rock, disco, and some classical. But I am open and listening to more contemporary musicians.
Favorites books: Ayn Rand "The Fountainhead" plus lots of different biographies and historical fiction. I enjoy Donna Leon, Philippa Gregory, Michael Connelly, Sue Grafton, Cleo Coyle... and a bit of chick-lit every once in a while.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been fortunate to see so many amazing things. An example is the sun breaking through a cloud like the finger of God in the Darwin Channel, or a golden temple in Chiang Mai.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach English, French and cooking if you're interested.
