ABOUT ME

A great guy, easy to get along with. I work full-time as a dentist in my own practice, but I hope that being some kind of a workaholic doesn't prevent me too much from loving a lot of different things in life beside work. I have particularly a taste for challenging outdoor activities, learning about History and about people from other cultures, as well as for Economic theories, Human psychology, Politics, and keeping up-to-date with what is being discovered in Creation Research. Oh, and I was forgetting, I just can't resist anything which has some British humor in it !

I wish to host one or more couchsurfer(s) some day !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I'm used to travel on my own. I'm looking for something different than the typical hotel room, and I will definitely look at CS group activities wherever I travel.

Interests

Learn and try many different outdoor activities and sports, even the challenging ones like whitewater kayaking, backcountry skiing, rock climbing, backpacking, diving, and playing hockey. I wish I could do those things more often but because of time restraints I mostly spend my free time playing some tennis, in-line skating, visiting family relatives, listening to great audiobooks I bought, and searching the Internet to learn more about some great investment opportunities, and also to prepare my next getaway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a) Getting inside the mist just below Niagara Falls on a boat trip.
b) Looking simultaneously at the glaciers surrounding Lake Tahoe on my left side and at the Nevada desert 2000 feet below the surface of the lake on my right side. I was standing on one ridge of the Heavenly Ski Resort at that moment.
c) Almost touching octopuses and sea turtles while diving in Ixtapa, Mexico.
d) Paddling through one class III rapid on my very first day of whitewater kayaking
