Heeey ! :) My name is Octavie, I’m 24 and I come from the french part of Switzerland. I have just finished my Bachelor's degree in international development in France and I am hesitating to pursue my studies either in London, in Switzerland or in the Netherland :) I do really enjoy traveling, which is part of my studies as well. I love discovering new cultures and getting to know people and more people and always more and more people! :) Most of all, I love adventure and freedom! I’m very interested in Human rights and responsible development and would like to work in this area.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did my first "couch surfing weekend" in December 2014 in Hamburg and I really loved it! That's why I traveled from Düsseldorf in the North of Germany to Istanbul in January and February, only by couchsurfing. This was a great adventure and I met thousands of incredible people along the way!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking trains in India ! Best moments ever! time suddenly stops and you just go through thousands of little villages where people are living such a quiet and different life. It was a real privilege to ride through their life, even thought it was just for a few seconds. No need to precise that trains in India have open windows and doors, which adds a looot to the charm of the experience!
