Flying to Costa Rica to meet locals, discover some of the Pacific Coast and surf as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I've always had a love for sports, recreational activity and traveling. In college I was a rower while doing my undergraduate degree and rowed 10 years after finishing 2nd in 2008 at the Olympic Trials in rowing for the United States. Now I work as a Physical Therapist in Santa Cruz and lately have really become involved in yoga and running. Last year I did some continuing education in Australia and was able travel throughout the country as well as make a stop in Hong Kong, Thailand and Fiji.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in Santa Cruz and I hope to be able to extend my hospitality to other members as they pass through California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a new member so I don't have any experiences that came through this organization. When I was a competitive rower I had to do some of my own couch surfing throughout the United States for competitions and training camps. I'm always impressed with peoples generosity and openness when it comes to them allowing you to stay with them.

Interests

Open water swimming, running, rowing, yoga, surfing, hiking (Yosemite is my favorite), traveling, trying new foods, fitness, snowboarding and anything else that gives you a reason to live.
