Interests

I love watching live sports, especially the English premier league, preferably in a pub serving good craft beer. Having lived in Ireland for over a decade, I suddenly find myself in love with rugby. I love walking around in places I visit and try to understand the layout and sense of the place on the map as well as socio-culturally and in a historic context.

Music, Movies, and Books

Widely loving most modern music genres, from rock 'n' roll, punk, grunge, metal, psychedelic rock to folk, jazz, blues etc. I like everything from experimental art house flicks, to commercial action block busters. Literature wise, I no longer read enough fiction, but when I do, I love everything from the magic realism of Murakami as well as the bleak alco-realism of Bukowski and many things in between, though sentimentalism is not my cup of tea.
