ABOUT ME

Hello Everybody!
I am 57. I am brand new to this site. I do have a wonderful couchsurfer fiend who lives in Schroon Lake, NY and who told me about you.
I am an interpreter/translator and language instructor. I studied Romance languages. I worked other jobs too, such as sales assistant, server, sales rep at call center, and some others. I love to learn about and experience other cultures and meet new good people. I am a quiet, peaceful and cooperative personality. I am also well-educated and intelligent. I am originally from Russia but have been living in the U.S. for 10 years. I still have my own small but nice apartment in Sochi, Russia. It's a resort town by the Black Sea with a mountain backstage and the host of the next Winter Olympics - 2014. You are welcome to visit Russia and stay at my place with a prior 3-day notice. I have a room (a balcony) big enough for 1 visitor or 2 visitors who are close friends or a couple. I will tour you around and also provide language assistance.

PHILOSOPHY

Even thou I am a professional interpreter/translator I am interested in constantly improving my language abilities and skills, so I'd love to meet people who would help me with that.
I am also an intermediate tennis player and a green/blue level downhill skier.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated yet other than helping my friend host surfers in August, just a few weeks ago in his Schroon Lake home.
