How does one create a more just, democratic world?
I'm a compassionate person with a great sense of humor. I'm finding my place in the world. I have a knack for cooking and really should do more of it. I mostly go with the flow of things, but sometimes I put my foot down when it matters.
Choas and order- too much of either is not a good thing. I'm also deeply empathetic and think everyone should be treated fairly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
One day, people began appearing at a good friend's house. They were great and then they left. Then, other people came and finally I realized that some couchsurfing was going on.
I haven't been able to host in my own home yet, but I surfed and have enjoyed it a lot. The surfers I met at my friend's house were always wonderful.
I just graduated with a focus in political economy and history. I have a passion for truth and look for patterns. I love cute little critters, lots of color, and interesting stories.
Music, Movies, and Books
I go through phases of liking different things. Liked French films for a while. Ray Bradbury is a current favorite author, but I mostly read critical history texts. Music includes Johny Cash, lots of Motown music, and M. Ward.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Really enjoyed Detroit- it was out of this world to see boarded up skyscrapers and abandoned factories.
Juarez, Mexico was full of wonderful, friendly people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know some Russian and can recommend good books. I'd like to learn about what people enjoy to do with their time and how to make my life more communal.
