ABOUT ME

Excited for life and everything it has to offer! I grew up in the mountains surrounding Lake Tahoe in California/Nevada and am grateful to be from such a beautiful place. I studied Human Development as well as some performing arts at Sonoma State University just north of San Francisco. I took one year abroad studying at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS) in Copenhagen Denmark and fell in love with this city. After returning to the US to finish my bachelors degree, I am now back working at DIS and living in Copenhagen.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in a rather small room in a rather small flat so I cannot host anyone myself, but I certainly would love to meet travelers if they come to Copenhagen.
I think that both hosts and surfers can gain a lot from couch surfing and I can't wait to be a part of this community.
As the world becomes a more globalized place, the opportunity to interact intimately with others as couch surfing allows is priceless.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to CS but think this is a great organization. I have done some rideshare in the United States and Denmark so I can't wait to try couch surfing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After Hurricane Katrina I spent some time in Louisiana rebuilding homes for people who had lost theirs. To see a community so torn up and neglected almost two years after the disaster was heartbreaking. At the same time, it was heartwarming to see the strength of the people in the Lower 9th Ward. Overall it was an emotionally rewarding, physically challenging, amazing experience.
