travel to argentina to learn the culture, explore the wilds, and learn high altitude farming.

ABOUT ME

i am about to turn 30 years old. my wife who i am traveling with is 27. i have been playing in the natural wilds since i was a little kid. i have done most of my traveling within the usa, and am ready to take off and have a cultural experience in a new county. did someone say argentina. my wife and i both enjoy working and recreating outside. we farm, build hiking trails, backpack, mountain bike, climb rocks and tree, and all around feel good with the sun shinning down on are shoulders.

PHILOSOPHY

we try and live outr life a simply as possibe. buying our clothing used, recycling what we do us, and treading lightly on the land. we want to live a life that helps others by the simple act of not wasting, and being true to ourselves.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

to tell you the truth we are new to this project. we want to be apart of this cultural exchange that happiens when you couch surf. we have probably been unofficial members for a long time openning our door to traveling folks.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

when we travel we either camp out or crash at friends houses. as of now we rarely sleep at peoples houses we have never met before. this is going to be a new experience for us. we have hosted many couch surfer that have usualy been friends, or friends of friends. most of the time it has been good for us. at times we have felt a little put out because someone has over stayed there welcome.

blue grass, dance music, electronic, middle eastern, counrty, folk, and anything good. music when played from the soul can come in many shapes.

Teach, Learn, Share

we can teach how to pull a cross cut saw, role heavy logs, mountain bike, create a positive and safe wilderness experience for others, navigation, gardening, tree planting, trail building, hat making. we are open to learn what people have to teach. our main goal in traveling down to argentina is to learn high mountain farming in hopes of bringing that knowledge back to the us. the us is in need of organic, local and yummy food. our country has been taking a turn for the worst and we want to help rebuild the usa from the ground up. we need strong teachers.
