Well my name is Oliver i am 26 years old and life and work in Vienna. I would describe myself as an open minded relaxed guy who loves to explore new countries, continents , cultures, food and get a point of view by a local person wherever i travel to.

My biggest travel was like 2 years ago when i made a bagpack trip to china with a friend of mine, who was luckily studying chinese language so i had a great opportunity to come with him and travel around in south china with a fluent chinese speaking "guide ". That was a really great experience for me, the food was awesome the landscape was just AMAZING and the people of course were really interesting as well.

Sadly i didnt have the opportunity to talk to many local people as much as i wouldve liked to, because since i cant speak chinese and chinese people barely speak english i wasnt able to get a real connection to them,

On the other hand i met some really cool people during our stay at a hostel in shanghai. It was really chilled u just get a beer and hang out with folks u never met and discuss about different things or just exchange some travel experiences and everyone is just laid back.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to explore a new city or country is to hang out with some local people that can give u a different point of view of their hometown and show u things u wouldnt be able to see if ure traveling alone.

I like to exchange some travel experiences, or just discuss about live and what its all about with other open minded people.

I also enjoy a good drink in the evening with some friends followed by a good conversation..
