About Me

I'm a student from New Zealand on a study abroad program at Texas A&M. I love to open my eyes to new places, people and experiences. In 2010 I took a gap year to check out Europe, and since then I'm always looking for an excuse to get traveling and meet some new interesting people. I'm always up for something new.

Of course travel and meeting new people is up there at the top. I'm a pretty big muso. I love checking out concerts and festivals. I play guitar but sadly I've neglected my gat the last couple of years, so I'm looking forward to picking it up again. I love to snowboard and I'm interested in adventure activities. Coming from New Zealand, I should've jumped off a few bridges and planes by now, but I haven't got around to that yet. So I've got a big to-do list. I spend a lot of my time going out with friends, and meeting new people over a few drinks. I'm up for almost anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quad biking through the Sinai desert in Egypt made for an amazing day trip. It was a thrilling experience to throttle through that terrain and hang out with a Bedouin tribe at the end. Another breath taking moment was simply walking through the fairy-tale land of Venice. There's no place like it in the world. Taking the bus-boats through the 117 different islands there was a fun and unique way to get around the city.
