About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel through Europe and Vietnam meeting loads of great people along the way!
ABOUT US
Hey guys, my partner Kelsi and I are relaxed and friendly kiwis who have for the last 2 years been living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I myself have done a lot of travelling when i was younger with my family and also through europe in 2014 for 3months on my own, however this is currently Kelsis first big adventure travelling and shes really looking forward to it.
We have hosted once before and found it a very rewarding experience so we hope to share more of these with our prospective hosts. We are open minded people who hold no judgement on others for any reason, we are all equal in this world and we respect that everyone has a valid opinion.
We love pets (mainly cats amd dogs but open to anything) and are more than happy to stay with you if you have them.
We like to party and are happy to share a few beers with our hosts as well :-)
We want to contribute to the couchsurfer community so we'll always leave a review for you and wont be just turning up for a free place to stay.
Couchsurfing for us is more about meeting people than having a place to stay, as we have fully embraced the Scottish culture in our time there, and want to see more of other cultures and the people to get the same sense.
I believe that travel is best not only for your own experience, but for the understanding and appreciation of others that comes from seeing how other people live, and hearing different perspectives.
Live life like there's no tomorrow, and enjoy the small things at every opportunity.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We've had friends who have hosted before and recommended it, so we hosted as well afterwards and had a great time with our guests. We learned about a country and culture we would never have thought to look at, and it really opened our eyes to how nice people can be, and how many different cultures there are to learn about. We've learned more of our own culture from living away from home and wish to continue learning from others while we travel.
