I am a Martial Arts teacher and have been travelling for the last 3 years. I teach Wing Chun Kung Fu and grew up between England, Germany and Ukraine. Kung Fu and the culture, language and everything around it is my biggest passion and I've been doing it for a long time.

That said, I'm also really into other things, not least acting and performing, cooking, Eastern and Western philosophy, reading, cooking, nature, music gigs, comedy shows and the theatre, cinema,tech/entrepreneurship, learning new languages and meeting new people. I'm always keen to try out new, unusual experiences too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and having an exchange and adapting to new experiences is what travel should be about, rather than showing up and taking before moving on. Something positive should always be left behind. I think the culture behind Couchsurfing is really great and should be protected. I've known about it for a long time and have heard many great things - although I've been travelling for a long time I never gave it a try till now so I am excited and hope to do the community justice and also to host myself.

Interests

I am coming to Asia primarily to take my Kung Fu to the next level and to combine it with acting work. But I am very entrepreneurial and am always interested in tech. I have run a handful of businesses in the past and am currently learning about cryptocurrency
