About Me

Probably more introverted than extraverted, so trying to push myself out of my comfort zone as I can be a bit of a hermit and be more than happy in my own company. That being said I also love meeting new people so I am a walking contradiction. Currently on gap year working day and night to fund my trip to the Baltic States and Scandinavia.

I love serious conversations about life and all that crap but think a sense of humour is definitely most important, expect lots of sarcasm and dark humour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet interesting people while I travel solo through the Baltic states and Scandinavia, as no friends wanted to go to the same countries as me. Also obviously I don't have to pay for hostels/hotels so thats a bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I love classical rock, progressive rock, trip hop, classical, Sigur Ros, funk etc. Run to guitar solos

Film - film noir, arthouse film, psychological thrillers , weird films I worked as a runner on a film set could do nothing but watch films all day. Also love dark comedies, silly humour (watch Super Troopers!)

Books - Gothic literature (my chosen modules at uni) Dracula, Dorian Gray, Turn of the Screw, etc. Favourite books are Notes on a Scandal and American Psycho (I don't like to chop people up and feed kittens to ATM machines don't worry).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Find it very difficult to remember things I've done on the spot, maybe I'll have remembered by tomorrow.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach basic ballet, probably not ideal but that's all I've got.

I can cook good greek food, vietnamese duck rice paper rolls,

Can teach you Spanish, and teach you how to eat an entire pizza on your own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to go out and explore, equally happy to watch films while it rains outside. Good humour, good food and love hearing about other peoples' lives and experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, United States
