About Me
FR/ENG
Hi all!
I'm a French young professional who settled down in Canada 8 years ago, including 7 years in Montréal and one year in Vancouver. Montréal is home and I feel deeply in love with this city. Winter is rough here but the reward of getting through it worths the effort!
I'm an account director in an advertising agency. I speak French, got a decent English but I'm not fluent yet and still working on it ;) When I'm not at work, I spend most of my time with my friends playing card and board games (always with a glass of wine!), exploring new restaurants and places or travelling around (Québec, Vermont, Maine and New York have so many places to visit and things to do).
I live at the heart of the Gay Village which is one of the best location from where to start your exploration of the city. Pretty central, literally 2 steps away from the closest metro station, 8 minutes away from a metro hub connecting 3 lines, surrounded by restaurants, bars, clubs and all the commodities you would need. Don't expect a quiet neighborhood, though. The only inconvenience of my location. As diversity (social and sexual) is the quintessence of this neighborhood, I suggest you to send a request to someone else if you're not comfortable with this notion.
Welcome to the great city of Montreal and looking forward to host you soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to this (that's why I'm not verified yet - want to give it a try first) but after spending one year in Vancouver last year, one of the most cosmopolitan city in the world, it made me realize that meeting new people from all around the world, sharing experiences and culture differences is one of the most valuable thing that can happen in your life.
Also, sharing tips about my city and help people out to fall in love with Montréal as I did would be the best reward of this experience.
