ABOUT ME

hello every1, my name is omid. It means "hope" in persian and yes thats a boy name in Iran :D I've been studying my master's program in Sweden for the past two years. However, since most Swedes are quite good in English and also very kind to use it, I've been slacking and havent picked up much Svenska yet. About my personality others should judge but I think I'm somewhat funny, patient and polite. Thats at least how some friends consider me I guess. Normally Im not so much of an outgoing person since there isnt much to do in my city but when I go on a trip I change to a totally different person. I try to meet as many new places as I can in a new city. So much that the feet is dying after the trip :D My hobbies are mostly playing video games and watching Tv series and movies. When I feel like it I try to cook something nice but since Im living alone atm, that doesnt happen often ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I love to be in love. For me all the education and work should be a means to support the ppl you love. Family is very important. Ofcourse its a bonus if you do what you love or study or work what you love.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well tbh, if I want to advice you to pick a time in the year to travel to Sweden, I would say june july is the only time that you can rest assure that snow wouldnt get in your way :D However specifically for Norrkoping, I would say late August is definately the time. Since its not a big city , there isnt much to do normally but we have an August festival late august which contains a carnival-like event. A whole street will be filled with stands which sell food, clothes and have alot of entertainment. There will also be a portable theme park there which could be fun. The whole city becomes alive during that week. Every1 is out there and every night will be a special firework program for 15 20 minutes for a week. So if you want to come to Norrkoping and have fun, thats definately the time.

I've seen so much movies and Tv series that I honestly cant name my favorites. As for music I love pop, rock , soul , country music. Again so many different artists which I cant pick some favorites.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Barcelona trip for me was a blast. Also amsterdam was quite an interesting city. Done alot of thrilling experiences in Antalya Turkey also, including jumping down from a very tall tree into the river.

Well other than games which is my area of expertise, all I can think of is maybe teach some persian words or show around some of persian culture and foods.
