About Me

CURRENT MISSION

writing my first novella

ABOUT ME

I'm a free spirit full of passion.

I don't care about the mainstream; I have my own way of life.

I don't read news regularly; I think independently.

I'm not interested in fashion; I prefer ancient things.

I seldom use social media; I talk to people.

I cherish real friendship and never stay at a superficial level.

PHILOSOPHY

I've learned from experience that happiness is less about pursuing dreams than keeping an open heart to receive what life has to offer.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up in 2009, but really involved for the first time in the summer of 2010 in Russia by attending CS-meetings in St. Petersburg and Moscow and meeting warm-hearted Couchsurfers for sightseeing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became active again at the end of 2013 by organising and attending CS-meetings in Berlin during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

In March 2014 I created the weekly Cosy Saturday Meeting in Berlin and organised it until January 2015 when I moved to Amsterdam.

Interests

I'm addicted to learning European languages and can't imagine living without it any more.

In spite of my passion for languages and my dream of becoming a writer, I prefer expressing myself without words, dancing ballet and valse as well as doing sport, especially outdoor sports without equipment.

Last but not least, I love watching European (association) football. For me there is nothing more splendid, more glorious, more passionate, more thrilling than this soul-stirring game, than this symphonically harmonious coordination, than this balletically elegant performance, than this brilliantly colourful grandstand, than this epically mighty singing, than this everything-melting atmosphere.
