About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To document the world in my head so I can make some films about it.

ABOUT ME

I`m an easygoing guy. I feel younger than I really am and I like to live as free as I can. I`m quite a party guy and somewhat of a drunk, still I´m responsible and have managed to achieve a good professional carrer doing what I want. I love to travel not only for the new places I go but also for the new people I meet.

----UPDATE----
Wow !! Reading that again it sounds sooo cheesy.
Okay, let's bring some reality to it.

I'm an alcoholic, but I pretty much just beer.
I really love to chat all day but only with a few people at a time. I hate crowded places. I'm not the kind of guy who wants to be the center of atention but I'm a great sidekick.

I have a sick sense of humor and I love mean jokes.

I am quite lazy to write and completing a profile is a pain in the ass for me, but I read and talk a lot.

I don't plan ahead and I have no clue what I'm doing with my life but since is working so well so far. I think I'll junst continue with it as it is.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in plain luck, I belienve in fun times, I believe in good people and I believe that whatever we´re doing here is temporary so we need to live life the fullest we can. Still I´m no dumb and know what long term means.
Anyways, I'm traveling without any planning and I love this feeling.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just found out about CS, so I can´t say I did participate at all, but I really liked the concept of it so I hope to help as soon as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far. Hoping to change that.

Interests

Travel, and movies are my life.

I also love beer, rock and roll, beaches and art.
I´m not pick about confort but I love to spoil myself every now and then.

I've been working as a film Editor in São Paulo for the past 3 years, before that I spended a year running a Guest House in the beach on the Northeast of my country. Before that I was studing film in Hollywood for another year and that is it.

Music, Movies & Books

I really hate this question. It´s so unfair.
Last good movie I saw was Shutter island.
Update from last month.
El Secredo de sus Ojos. Iron Man 2. Defendor. 500 days with Summer.

Last good book I read was The Drunkard's Walk: How Randomness Rules our Lives.

And music... recently played on my iPod. In alphabetical order
AC/DC, Air, Amy Winehouse, Astrud Gilberto, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, Bjork, Bob Dylan, Breeders, Buena Vista Social Club, Cat Power, Chico Buarque, The Clash,
Damien Rice, Death Cab for Cuttie, Dizzy Gillepie, Dropkick Murphys, Elvis Presley, Feist, The Fratellis, Gogol Bordello, Gordon Gano, Gothan Project, Jesus and Mary Chain, Joan Jett, Johnny Cash, Joy Division, Lou Reed, Manu Chao, Norah Jones, Nouvelle Vague, Pavement, Pizzies, the Postal Service, Ramones, The Slackers, Stray Cats, Vampire Weekend, Yoav.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Yesterday I stumbled upon a venue playing a Gogol Bordello concert (one of my favorite bands) by pure chance in Paris. That was pretty awesome.

In the past.
I had may only motocross lessons in the borders of Myanmar.
I rode an Elephant on into a River.
I got stuck on a snowstorm in chile
I opened up and fixed a broken digital camera only to to loose the last screw inside and short circuit the thing.
I watched the second season of 24 straight from the beggining to the end on a 18 hour marathon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m like to open thing up with a screwdriver. Sometimes I fix things, other I don´t. Still it´s worth the try.

And I love when someone can show me a good movie that for some weird reason I have never saw and it´s great.
