To eliminate the potential for regret, and cheat death as long as possible.
I am a collector. I am fascinated with stories of word origins, perceptive quotes, civic histories, school mascots, state nicknames, cool foreign phrases, cool phrases in the vernacular, pop culture artifacts, tattoos, vinyl, 8-track, trivia, reasons, and at the risk of sounding a little hollistic, all the things that constitute the human experience. I'm probably overdue for a really good cry. I can streamline almost any process. I wear two watches simutaneously; I know how to act like a gentleman. I am a true individual who is well capable of joining damn near any conversation. I could spend twenty minutes telling you why American Psycho is the greatest novel ever written. I know the differences between 'there', 'they're', and 'their'. I have goals, and plan on achieving them. I tell great stories, and I think Frank Sinatra might have been the most interesting individual ever born. I'm a Sacramento native and outside of the two years I spent trying to go to school in Chico, have lived here my whole life. There is a very small group of people who have a deep fondness for the River City, and I might never know why. However, I am a constant complainer, and doubt very sincerely that I'll ever be fully satisfied with our civic direction, much less the plight and consciousness of the rest of the world. Enter Buddhism.

The only music we will not be listening to together is New Country. I believe John McRae referred to it as, "the sonic equivalent of an SUV."

I've worked as a finish carpenter and an asphalt/landscape superintendent. I'm handy around engines (even diesel), and can play a mean ukulele.
