About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Appreciate the good in people all around the world

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy dude who likes to travel, learn about people, and enjoy new thrills. If we ever bump into each other, I'll probably pester you non-stop about your life, invite you out for good food, and take you out on an adventure.

I live about one hour south of San Francisco. I'm pretty busy with work these days, but in my free time, I'll be riding my bike and motorcycle, jamming to some old-school R&B, and planning out my next trip.

If you're ever in San Francisco, feel free to hit me up! I'd be happy to offer any advice I can on the Bay Area. There are plenty of cool sights and activities off the tourist radar!

PHILOSOPHY

Live purposefully and surround yourself with good people. No matter where you are in the world, chances are you'll find someone who thinks the same way you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been on this site for a long, long time :).

Back in 2007, my housemate Pari introduced me to Couchsurfing. The community was small back then - just a couple dozen CSers - and it had a very tight-knit atmosphere.

Casey Fenton, the founder, lived just a few blocks away from us. The CS.org team ran the company out of a fraternity house next to our university (UC Berkeley), so we would often bring our guests over to hang out with them.

There was a very bohemian, non-techy vibe pre-2009 - quite different from what CS.org is today!

Interests

Waking up before the alarm rings, laminated paper, Milano cookies, making babies laugh, finishing all of the food on the table.
