Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to talk to people to find out their history and stories of where they live. As I like traveling alone, but enjoy sharing an adventure not found in tourist guides, meeting people completes that.
A hotel is too sterile, a hostel is crowded with fellow travelers. Finding a local in the city who wants to talk, share, and explore is more memorable.

Interests

The best plans are made over numerous cups of coffee. Then the more obscure, the better, when it comes to things to see and do!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - anything but rap or country, my playlist is pretty heavy with David Bowie at the moment
Books - voracious reader, currently stuck in a historical fiction binge
Movies - action, suspense, sci-fi, completely loathe romantic comedies

I can to teach you how to professionally decorate a cake! I'd love to learn more languages, how to make pasta, and what makes the town you live in worth staying in.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- I can cook.
- Do not snore.
- Have no idea how to fold a fitted sheet, but am willing to learn.
- Can leave politics off the table (although I should mention we didn't all vote for the orange monster, please bear with us while we sort that out)
- I love hearing about people! Childhood stories, past traveling, plans for the future, please share! Or not, I can respect silence.
