ABOUT ME

Osman Meyredi (professional musician, polistrumentist, performer, graduate in double bass)

I was born in 1984 in Tione di Trento (Trento – Italy). I have Master Degree in Double Bass – Music reached at “F. A. Bonporti” Conservatory of Trento (Italy). I’m music teacher at Junior High School “Istituto Comprensivo Valle del Chiese” Storo (TN) and electric bass/double bass teacher at “Giudicarie” School of Music of Tione di Trento (TN).
I played for different orchestral groups:
Suite Dream, the Mini Polifonici orchestra of Trento, the Jan Novak orchestra of Villalagarina, the International Music Academy of Lasino and the chamber orchestra of Conservatory of Trento. Furthermore I participated at the Indeepandance Project of Club “Alcatraz” (Milano), with the musicians and groups: Vittorio Cosma, Richard Evans, David Rhodes, Ged Lynch, Marlene Kuntz, Gianni Maroccolo, Eugenio Finardi, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Borgar Magnason, Valgair Sigurdson, Howie B, Ensemble Timbales and the Adusai choir.
In 2007 I made background actor as double bass player in Alessandro Baricco’s movie “Lesson 21”, in 2008 in Marco Bellocchio’s “Vincere” and in 2013 Claudio Noce’s “La foresta di ghiaccio”.
I collaborated and now-a-days I collaborate with different musicians and groups. During these experiences, with several instruments (electric bass, double bass, voice, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitar), I undertook between different kinds of music: Jazz, classic music, Rock, Funk, Blues, Indie and Pop.
