ABOUT ME

My name is Tim and I'm a Chemistry and Computer Information Systems major at Chico State. I will be starting a PhD program in fall 2009. I am pretty into science and chemistry, but contrary to what people might think, it's not the only thing in my life. I am striving to keep a balance in all areas of my life.

I'm an introvert for the most part, but sometimes you can't get me to shut up. I'm driven and determined. I'm reserved. I'm open-minded. I like solving problems. I have an excellent memory, except for people’s names. I can get so deep in thought that I find it hard to fall asleep at night. I am an excellent listener. I may seem shy at first glance but I'm really not. I usually appear to take everything seriously, but I'm not all work and no play. I know how to have fun. People who don't know me sometimes initially think that I would be prudish and conservative. This couldn't be farther from the truth. I am full of surprises.

If you see me and I don't spark up a conversation, say hello. I love a good conversation, about pretty much anything.

I can't wait to do some traveling. I want to visit Europe. Maybe even live in Europe somewhere someday. I want to start learning some foreign languages. I want to tackle german and french first.
