ABOUT ME

Hello all, I'm in the Army and currently stationed at Fort Benning, GA as a Ranger Instructor. I've been around the world a few times and seen and done some amazing and life changing things, and I'm always up for something, new... be it a new adventure, a concert extravaganza, a chance to put a roof over a travelers head, etc etc etc. Just going for it, whatever it is, it makes sense to me!

PHILOSOPHY

Basically, there are 86,400 seconds in a day, and every second I spend worrying about something I can't change, or doing something that doesn't make me happy, well, that's one second I won't be able to spend making myself more awesome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New to this, but this will hopefully help me find some people in the area to hang out with, and assist in last minute travel plans (happens more often than not), and I'm also more than happy to welcome a traveler in for some rest, good Oklahoma eats and conversation.

Spending time sharing experiences with others is probably my favorite activity to do. I'm a sucker for a good music festival, err, rave, or whatever the young guns are calling them these days. Oh, and Oreos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked day and night to sit on top of a mountain my platoon and I had looked at for 5 months from my small base in Afghanistan. Once I got up there, it was immediately apparent why we always got shot at from that spot - you could see for miles!
