About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy my semester abroad, travel, and have a blast :)

ABOUT ME

I am a 20-year-old student at Saint Louis University. I study American Studies and International Studies.Right now I am spending a semester abroad in Budapest, Hungary. This is my first time outside the U.S. and I am excited about my future travels. I am Catholic and my faith is really important to me. Someday I want to work for a non-profit organization and make a difference in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I have a very specific purpose for being alive. I don't know what it is yet but I know it involves helping others, and making this world a better place than I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couchsurfing. I've only done it once but would love to do it again! I am also interested in hosting. Sometimes I go to the weekly meetings as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed once but I had a wonderful time. I loved getting to know the nice couple we stayed with over breakfast.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Avett Brothers, Tegan and Sara, and Mumford and Sons. I recently finished reading the Hunger Games series and am anxiously awaiting the European release of the film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite things that I've done is visit the Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee. After working my way through the museum I was brought to tears when I saw the last place Martin Luther King Jr. was when he died. He is one of my greatest heroes.

Teach, Learn, Share

The tried and true cure for the hiccups is plugging your ears and drinking water through a straw at the same time. I promise it works every single time.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
