ABOUT ME

I've been lucky enough to travel to every continent on the planet (except Antarctica, which I've flown over)though my 20's and the experiences that have stood out the most are the people I have met. It's one thing travelling to a city or a place and seeing its sights, but what really makes for long lasting memories are the great people you meet along the way.

I've always enjoyed meeting the locals and realise it's a big part of making travel as awesome as it can be. For that reason thought I'd join the couch surfing community and accommodate folk when I can .

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to form deep connections with people, try new experiences and generally have fun. I love animals too so am vegetarian. If you can't have a laugh at yourself or with others, then you're not going to find life fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to host when I can . I work full time but have time on weekend some weeknights to show people some of the best (and off the beaten track) locations in Sydney, both city and surrounds. I'm a landscape photographer in my spare time so many of the best sights the place has to offer but which many tourists don't see are at my ready access!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a few years ago then got busy with work. Now that I have a place in Sydney, happy to return the favour for all the good deeds other travellers have afforded me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just finished hiking Kilimanjaro - pretty awesome!
