Overview
About Me
I'm very passionate about the future of humanity and our planet. This is why I dedicated my main activity ("job") to education ! Plus, my girlfriend and I try to reinvent every day our habits to better embrace the collapsing world we live in :) To be more sustainable, autonomous and have the minimum impact on the other humain beings and on the environment.
And to finally realise what matters most, beyond any material needs (that we try to keep to a minimum) is the contact with other people. Once you've cleared out your conscience of all the negative things that our society can give you, all that remains and matters are the others :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to discuss our views of the world with travellers ! And also be able to travel in a human way and take our time to travel. Not transform travelling into a commodity but really dive into people's lives and homes to deepen our encounters and really learn about places that you visit !
Couchsurfing is a real vehicle of serendipity :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is Mr Nobody by Jaco Von Dormael
My favorite book is Apprendre à vivre by Luc Ferry
My favorite music is Going Up to the Country by Canned Heat
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participated in the Afrikaburn, the equivalent of Burning man in South Africa. And I really found out that my favorite artistic way of expressing myself was though dancing :)
Teach, Learn, Share
A very good book that helped me having a good starting point regarding environmental issues today: "L'âge des low tech" by Philippe Bihouix, a French engineer specialised in raw materials. It really goes deep into how things that surrounds us are made and how impossible it is to keep living like this in the long run.
A critical, yet very factual so quite neutral, book about the myth of new "high" technologies, about the mistakes of recycling considerations and many other things !
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good conversation about environment !
Insights that I have at the moment about unschooling (an interesting phenomenon in alternative forms of education).
