To spend an entire day in Buenos Aires speaking anything but Spanish.
I've been called a social flutter-by and told that I can walk between many worlds. My intention (at least) is to be outgoing and friendly.
Also I'm as American as I am Argentinian... sometimes the duality is overwhelming.
I'm not particularly fond of ultimate frisbee or anything it stands for.
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to join or facilitate conversation groups for practicing languages.
I read French in college, and now I'm an English teacher at an institute. You could say my interests are literature and languages
I also enjoy playing music, drinking beer, going out, drawing cartoons...
Movies: I'm obsessed with European movies from the 60's and 70's. Luckily, there's always something playing in this town.
Music: While my favorites will always be British Prog and Krautrock, I find myself listening more and more to groups like Blondie and the Cure, funky things...
Books: I like mostly novels and plays. I think everything else still boils down to characters and drama.
Ask me about getting on a TGV while it started rolling, unsure about whether it was going to the right place or not, or the time I had to spend a night on the streen in Montparnasse with no money and a suitcase full of cider...
Or ask me about the day I took every form of transport in Buenos Aires...
I can help you with your English, Spanish, French, give top tips about Buenos Aires, help you get through a liter of beer.
