Why I’m on Couchsurfing
as a mater of fact trying to avoid it, while
looking for the old community and tell them to migrate here:
>this is a more democratic site (almost direct),
according to my experience of cs the last 7 years, i notice that after turning into a for profit corp , many new profiles have been blossomed, but these people are not really into the idea of it, so as a result ones who try to use cs for its original purpose come across "not active on hosting" profiles, and it gets annoying sending really a lot requests and receiving no answer. this makes the site not functionable for its idea.
