COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Shaz couchsurfed in Europe and had great experiences. She has also hosted in her house in Singapore for some travellers.

Tim's family has hosted many students and travellers in New Zealand.

Interests

Shaz is interested in music, photography, religious philosophy, films, dancing and gangsters.

We both like to drink and party.

Shaz & Bruce both enjoy films by Tarkovsky, Kurosawa, Cocteau, Fellini, Bergman.

Shaz & Bruce both enjoy a wide variety of music from Animal Collective to Rachmaninoff to The Velvet Underground. Shaz is (currently) obsessed with Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys and Scott Walker.

Shaz & Bruce both enjoy books by Yukio Mishima, Jorge Luis Borges, Jean Genet, Fyodor Dostoyevksy, Leo Tolstoy, Albert Camus, Jean-Paul Sartre, Michel Tournier.

Shaz's grandfather created a dish in Singapore called 'Kacang Pool' which used to be quite popular and is a variation of Foul Medames. Shaz's version is a little closer to Chilli Con Carne and she would be pleased to make it for you and teach you how to.
