ABOUT ME

I spent the last few years travelling on and off: all over Australia (lived 7 months in Byron Bay), Hawaii, and 5 months in Banff in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. I spent a year at university in the USA, and a year in Germany. My parents lived in Istanbul so I've been there quite a bit too. Now living in Portugal where I've been the last couple of years, in Porto but just moved to the Lisbon area...
I've made a living doing all sorts of things but in the last couple of years have been teaching English as foreign language at the same time as establishing myself as a visual artist.

At the moment I'm between places, but am looking forward to hosting once I have a more permanent residence in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed in Hawaii for the first time a few years ago and have surfed numerous couches in Canada. It's an amazing thing, each place you stay will be a unique experience and you get to meet some really interesting people, complete strangers at first but by the end seem like good friends! This is the best way to travel!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lion visited my tent in the middle of the night while camping out in the Serengeti in Tanzania. I thought it was my last night on earth!
