I work as an mechanical engineer in Luxemburg where I daily commute to with the train. Although I really love my job, I’m trying to maintain a good work life balance and be active after work. I’m always into getting to know new people, places and things in general. I just love life and try to enjoy it as good as possible.

In my freetime I do a lot of sports. I play football, go to the gym and love inline skating and being outside and in nature in general. I like to go on hikes and explore the area, especially the beautiful trails close to the Mosel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from all over the world to hear their story and learn about their culture and their language. If it´s possible I want to share my flat too with fellow travellers when I don´t have enough time to travel and explore new cultures as much I would love to, so I hope to get these experiences this way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 3-days hiking trip in Myanmar where we slept in a small village and monastery. We played football with some local kids and against a group of monks. In the evening we had some beers at a bonfire where a local guy played the guitar.

Hiking the Huayhuash trek in Peru for 8 days with an iranian friend without an organised tour at 4000-5000 m height.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides offering my couch, you can feel free to use my whole flat. We can have a beer in the evening and talk about travel or life in general. I can show you around if I have time and we could prepare some food together.
