I love traveling, culture, nature, adventure and sports. So when I mix all together it can be just amazing. When I travel I tend to involve myself with locals, see how they live and try to integrate myself in their culture.
I was doing a world tour during almost one year, and during this trip I did CS few times. It was just amazing.
I think that impossible is nothing. If you wanna do it you have to find the way. If there is a problem, don't be sad, just face it and look for the way to solve it. The more difficult it is the more satisfaction you'll get when you reach your goal!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like the philosophy of shearing without expecting anything back. Today I help you, and i just expect you to help somebody else along the way, as I hope to be helped by somebody else one day. For me CS is more than hosting people. You can meet people around, get to know the real place you are visiting from inside. Culture sharing. learning from each other. Traveling can be "fake" and quite unreal if you just go to a place to take pictures. But thanks to the CS community it could be such a real experience when you get involved or inmerse with the locals. Hosting or being hosted. Or just meeting someone or traveling together.
I started meeting some people that were travelling to my friend's houses. My 1st time was in a farm in New Zealand. Then I was traveling with people I met trough CS in Thailand and Turkey, and staying in some other people houses in all Asia. After that I got back home and I started to organice meetings and little trips in my home town creating a big group that after the years still exists growing and growing. I looked for travelmates trought CS and I ve been meeting some others CS along the way. And I ll carry on...
