About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make it back to Colorado, and to ski. Lots and lots of skiing.

ABOUT ME

I've had the opportunity to live in many amazing places during my undergraduate studies. I've interned in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Longmont, Colorado, and have gone to school in both the boonies of New York (Potsdam) as well as right down in NYC. Having just graduated this December, my roommate and I will be heading out to Aspen Colorado, and are looking for some places to crash along the way. We're heading out for a vacation in the Rockies before we have to start working full time. I've secured myself a position with a large employer, and will be working towards my M.E. My college roommate, who has also graduated, will be spending the Spring in Aspen before returning for her PhD in Math (Why you EVER would want to go back for a PhD is beyond me!).

We are both very active, and like to do lots of hiking, running, and skiing. Someone who could show us around their local running trails who be a definite plus!

PHILOSOPHY

I just like to laugh as much as possible. Literally, that's about the best thing ever, and I would never want to change it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zero so far, looking to improve on that!

Interests

Running, mountain biking, and skiing are priority number 1. I'm also pretty interested in how steam and gas turbines work and thermodynamic cycles, cardboard's material properties, and motorcycles.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think the last book I read and loved was Rich Dad Poor Dad. I tried to read 50 Shades of Gray, but couldn't get into it at all. The Hunger Games series was hot and cold for me. It was good when the writing focused on the fighting, while the love story was... not so good. I'm addicted to drug related movies lie Blow, Spun, Layer Cake, Requiem for a Dream, etc. (Don't worry I'm not addicted to drugs though).

I love dubstep, but also any type of music that's not country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, scariest thing ever! Probably worse since we were hungover as well.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Jamaica, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
