ABOUT ME

I am driven to find myself. To see so many people following the grain of the world handed to them, I make a point to step back, and see where things could go if I were to take another route. It has worked out quite well since I have left home. I've met the most amazing people I ever known in my travels through British Columbia, and now I am in Australia seeing where the wind takes me while I am here, working and saving for my next trip to India, where I have been deeply drawn towards for the past few years. Though this makes me sound very serious, I am actually quite silly and love to have fun and do incredibly random things. A night out to the club does not cut it for me any more. If you want to climb some rooftops, play grounder or hacky sack, have a jam in the middle of a street, then I'm your man. I love music and meeting musicians and having jams late into the night, playing songs like sublime, radiohead, elton john, simon and garfunkel, pearljam...all that good stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

Still figuring it out. But I think it has a lot to do with karma, loving all forms of energy around you, and understanding what they can offer you and what you can offer them, and let the flow of things continue in that fashion. It's all we can really do. Just be aware and conscious of our own actions, and how we affect the things around us. And to ride a regular horse, not one of those high ones, I hear the fall is pretty bad off one of those.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By offering my music and other talents to those willing to spend some time with me. I sell my cds to those who want them, but to see a smile on someone's face while I'm playing for them is much more rewarding a monetary exchange. I am also interested in the barter system, and am welcome to trading with people. If I have something you could use, and visa versa I'm more interested in trading than involving money. That is why I appreciate this community so much. People helping people in ways separate of the monetary system, so lovely.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None with CS but throughout my travels in British Columbia I was lucky enough to make friends with people willing to offer me their households for very generous amounts of time. We would all cook for each other, I would play music for them. I grew very close with my hosts and their friends during that time, and I would not trade those experiences for anything. I think those experiences are what got me interested in CS, for I understand now, how great it is to meet people in this fashion.
