My name is Patricia and I am 19 years old and currently living in Riga, Latvia.
Besides my studies (I study medicine here.) I am also trying to learn Latvian.

After I finished high school in Germany and before I came to Latvia I took a gap year and worked/lived in a senior center in New York City.

One of my closest friends, I got to know through this year took me on a few couch surfing trips and this is how I get to know couch surfing.. since then I am always excited to travel again like this.

What other things I like?
I like to cook, but I wouldn't say i am a good cook, but I am always open to learn new cooking skills.
I am also pretty interesting in get to know other language, but I have to say that its always very hard for me to learn them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to couch surf because I think its pretty amazing how easy you can connect to people all over different countries and cities.

You also get a different view when you have insider tips from your hosts and especially you just experience things you wouldn't get to know if you just would stay in a boring hotel somewhere around the city.

Normally I don't really listen to music (Sounds kind of strange, right??) But when I am listening to music, most of the time I like to hear classical music. But I am always open for other stuff, especially when I go out or when I am with my friends.
