When I retired, I decided to leave the city and come live in my favorite place of Chile, Los Molles, where I spend most of my time meditating, reading, sharing with friends.

I have a christian group where we share twice a week the word of God, but I am open to host people from all religions and lifestyles.

I live in the peak of Los Molles, right next to the Virgin Hill, which is a spot where you a have a privileged view of the sea and where you can watch the beautiful awe-inspiring sunset.

Throughout the year, Los Molles is a place where you enjoy the silence. The cawkling of quails, the crashing of waves in the rocks and the intimiding wind are some of the sounds we will share together.

5 minutes walking from my house you can visit a natural reserve, which has the only reserves of wild Lucuma and Puya Chilensis of this region. It also has the Puquen, a rock formation that acts as a natural geyser and is often the first stop for visits. Alongside the shore, you will hear the Sea Lions in their own little island.

Los Molles is one of the best spots for Scuba Diving in our country. If you are more audacious, you may even take a surfing class. On the afternoon, treat yourself with some of the local seafood that is fished in the morning such as Palometa, Loco and Erizos. At night, if the conditions are favorable, you will be able to gasp at the clear constellations in the sky.

If you decide to visit, do not expect fully civilized infraestructure. This is a town where the majority are fishermen during the year. Leave the car parked and take a moment to walk around the unpavemented roads and cobbled stairways where you can lose yourself.

I spent 5 decades living and working in Santiago. I have 3 children, 10 grandchildren and a mother of 100 years. They are spread all over Chile and in New Zealand. I have visited Eastern Island and Italy. I hope to use this platform to eventually travel around to where the destinty will take me. My long-life dream is to visit the spiritual lands of India.
