About Me

Hello everyone! I'm a (soon to be) 27 year old American. I was born and raised in a small town west of Portland, Oregon and currently live in Jacksonville, Florida. I attend school online, and am an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks. I am gay, (not that that should matter) and am a musician, (I sing and play the piano). I love exploring new cultures and customs and appreciate art in various forms. I love nature and getting off the beaten path to discover a hidden gem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hoping to meet like minded individuals for friendship and hopefully weekend trips to explore this beautiful country of ours. Long term though, I am looking to explore my grandparents hometown of Hjørring, Denmark and I'm sure I'll want to explore Copenhagen and as many sights that I can. I am not here to find a cheap alternative to a costly hotel. Let's be real, a hotel might be more comfortable, no I am here to find an experience. I went to a boarding school growing up and hosted two classmates from South Korea and Hong Kong on the weekends for 4 years, needless to say, the three of us became best friends. I'm looking for adventure, to discover new people, new ideas. I love smoking and exchanging music, favorite books, admiring architecture and nature. My dream trip is Copenhagen for Christmas and New Years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in the Rockey Mountains was a life changing experience for me. The hike was intense, and physically challenging, but at the end, I discovered a pristine lake surrounded by snow capped mountains, virtually untouched by man. The stunning, raw beauty of the mountains struck me in a way I've never experienced before. I've done a lot of crazy things in my short life, but this particular hike was my "ah-ha moment."
