I and my wife (April) have been living in Sydney for over 20 years. I'm Thai and My wife is Chinese. We love meeting new people and discover new places. I used to worked in IT and my wife in Accounting, yes, we were nerds long before it becomes mainstream :)
Few years ago, we had enough of the corporate world. We sold everything, and starting our journey around the world - we believe in slow travel, living like local. Our initial plan is to relocating to Thailand, finding our new base and go from there.
We are hoping to find like minded people on this journey, come and join us on our trips, grab a coffee or a meal - lookout for us on the couchsurfer hangout section, we are looking forward to learn about the world from your perspective.
As you can quess, we are not a party type, we don't drink (due to health reason) so instead we love to talk and listen. We are into a slow travel, so we would be more in common with someone who has been travelling for a while or retirees, anyhow don't let labelling get in the way, come and share your story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I became older, I realised how little I know about the world. I had travelled to many places but what makes a place memorable is always the people that we met along the way. Our differences is what makes the world an amazing place and If you look with your heart, you will find that our difference is only skin-deep.
We are planning to travel the world in the coming decade, so by being part of this community we hope to find like-minded friends and to experience the world like locals. And when we're not travelling, we would like to start hosting and bring the world to us.
Currently I'm on a mission to change my life around, by letting go of my fear of meeting new people and start filling my life with more experiences over possessions.
