About Me

Well, things change. I cycled from Rotterdam to Athens, 3500km, from there I decided to continue the trip in the states and then everything went downhill something fierce, and my journey ended. So I’m back home and if I have a little time for you, I will accept you as a quest.

//// I kinda liked the old about me so I’m leaving it here.

Creative typist. Currently cycling to Japan, alone. Probably will die.

But seriously,

I’m undertaking the journey of a lifetime to rediscover myself.

I always thought I knew what I wanted to do with my life but found it was just a quest for validation in hopes that the validation would make me happy. So I left for a year, to find out what I want to do with my life because I want to do it, not because I think it will make other people like me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m interested in making a deeper connection with people. Find out about their hopes and dreams, and what it is that made them the person they are today.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can name millions but music, by far the Pixies. I guess because the music just makes me feel happy and excited. I can wallow in it and feel at peace. I love the sounds in the songs.

Movie, Fight Club, by a mile. Not only is David Fincher’s vision of the book which I’ve also read one of the rare cases where the film compliments the book, the story resonates so fucking well with my life, and how I experience it, and the total freedom from sociatal standards the movie explorers is just breahttaking. The story is brilliant. In my opinion the movie displays what it means to be a man in a world where the role of men is slowly becoming unsure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Touched the tip of my nose with my tongue!
Got lost in the woods, alone, in Belgium.
Cycled the freeway and got escorted off by police in Italy.
Camped illegally in Greece

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make owl sounds with your hands. About psychology, spirituality, meditation. I even bend myself in various weird positions occasionally, I think they call it yoga.
