One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The other day I got on my Greyhound coach at 5:30AM to travel a whole 12 hours from Jacksonville to Charlotte NC. I knew it would be a pretty boring ride, but I had my netbook so it didn't seem as bad. Anyway - as soon as I got on the coach I realised we had an old coach with NO wi-fi and NO sockets to plug my laptop in that has a battery life of 30 minutes! AHHHH. Anyway, so we were travelling through this ghetto looking place in a forest type thing when we pulled up to a station to let people on the coach. No word of a lie there were around 30 men all dressed in the same clothes who had just been released from jail! (Apparently, this happens on the 1st of every month - and they all travel by Greyhound?!?!?). So the coach was already half full... so one by one they all got on the coach and in front of me I had a huge guy from Compton. Behind me I had a guy with a tear tattoo'd next to his eye and next to me... I had a guy from Charlotte who had just served 3 years in Jail. (I didn't want to ask why !). So anyway, we got talking and he started showing me all these drawings that he did in jail... and WOW they were so good and full of meaning. He showed me his tattoo's, I showed him mine... and we just had a really great and totally unexpected chat. He was going to draw me up a tattoo... but we got seperated when people got off the coach from breaks and things.

Well, that's my story haha. The longest story with the most minimal meaning, I'm sure. But to me - it was full of feeling. At first I was expecting the worse... and then I found they were actually nice guys. Weird right?!
