Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm in one place for a while I'm happy to host, otherwise I use couchsurfing when I travel.
Pretty much all great, I find that people who open their house to strange travelers for fun are generally pretty cool.
I play cello, guitar, and sing. I am a long-distance biker. I enjoy self-inspired learning, and I consider every opportunity to travel and each new experience as an education. My last years I spent most of my time ignoring school and reading on my own. It seems like the best way to get an education. So now I finished school, and just kept learning.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biking up to 2,500 meters in the Guatemalan mountains with about a dozen other Guatemalans. Reaching the top there was nothing around except me and one other biker, and an incredible view. Then my friend's cell phone rang. Cell service on top of mountains in Guatemala is apparently better than US cities.
Throughout my bike trip from Guatemala to Panama there were too many moments to choose from. The people were welcoming beyond anything I'd expected, and each day offered me the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen.
