About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carrying my life in a backpack through Asia and Europe, after my exchange year in Australia (the best of my life so far).

ABOUT ME

Basically I am a really easygoing and social guy, that loves to learn and to experience new things. I love to introduce people to things that I have tried before and the other way around.

I like to cook, meet new people and places, chill out, listen to good music or even just have a good time doing nothing.

PHILOSOPHY
Be a positive energy to everyone I interact to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really got the travel bug during my exchange year in Australia, and met the Couchsurfing community in Melbourne a few days before leaving. (so sad)
I think couchsurfing is an amazing way to travel and meet people with the same mindset as me and I am really looking forward for my first experiences couchsurfing in Europe.

Interests

I love learning and having new experiences. If you show me something new, I will love it for sure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I believe that every music style has an appropriate time, and I enjoy diversity in music. From pop/commercial songs to underground music (miss you Melbourne!).
I was an amateur DJ before starting to work and study at the same time, and had a really good time playing.

I usually don't spend too much time watching movies, but I like those that makes you keep guessing what is going to happen next. Inception and Fight Club are some of my favorites.
Also, if you have never watched Tropa de Elite (the Brazilian Classic movie), you should do it as soon as you can!

When I was a child I was obsessed with Sherlock Holmes, and it is still one of my favorites. I also like Dan Brown's style, even though I still have to finish some of his books.
I also read a lot of non-fiction books, like inspirational travel and food guides.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is hard to name one thing, so I will try the most recent one:
Travelling more than 5.000 Km in 10 days through the Australian Outback, in a really nice motorhome, while paying just for fuel. (Gotta love relocation deals in Australia).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching as much as I love learning. Actually I believe that teaching is the most effective way to learn something (hope it makes sense).
I love cooking, so if you would like to try some food with a Brazilian touch, I can share some really nice recipes (some that I bet you will never get from anyone else in the world, hahha).
I was also an amateur DJ and photographer back in the day (retired from both now :P), so if you want to start one of these hobbies I can definitely give you some starting tips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The main thing that I can offer is my positive attitude towards anything that happens in my life, while also sharing a bit of my own experiences travelling the world.

Hint: I don't want to brag, but I usually get compliments about my cooking skills as well :P
