Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy documentaries and especially like Werner Herzog films. I enjoy foreign films and recently saw "Happy People" by Herzog. As a literature teacher I'm reading all of the time. Recently, I read Fowles' The French Lieutenant's Women, Donleavy's The Ginger Man, and Faulkner's As I Lay Dying. With music, I like classical, rap, folk, and rock n roll!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have met President Barack Obama when he was running for the U.S. Senate in Illinois. I have also heard, in person, Desmond Tutu, Maya Angelou, Bobby Kennedy, Jr., and Karen Armstrong.
I have visited India, Mexico, and Finland and those are amazing places.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach basic guitar and piano. I am a writing teacher so I can help with someone's writing.
