About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to travel through Russian speaking countries and learn Russian language and meet lots of new people.

ABOUT ME

i have ended my job, sold my car and stored all my spare things at my dads house and decided to do some travelling. i also hope to improve my Russian which i have been teaching myself in my spare time. i am currently in sevastopol staying in a hostel and i have been there for about three weeks. i have just spent two weeks on a farm near voru in estonia doing voluntary work. this is called WWOOFING. the farm is organic (doesn't use chemicals) and i had a fantastic time and will be looking forward to be doing more WWOOFING in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

my favourite band is The Smiths but i listen to all kinds of music from dance music (lived in Ibiza when i was younger) to folk music. the band i like at the moment is The Brian Jones Town Massacre, their early albums.
i like to read fiction and factual. i learnt about couchsurfing from a book called On The Couch by Fleur Britten who couch surfed across Russia, kazakhstan, Mongolia and china. i also found out about WWOOFING from a book called Driving Over Lemons about a British couple who buy a small farm in Andalusia in Spain. i enjoy books that are set in the past.
films i enjoy watching are varied. i do like thrillers and i think the french make very good films.
